In Memoriam
In Loving Memory of William Scott Gourley
William Scott Gourley (aka Scott/Scotty/Big Daddy), 59, passed away on February 19, 2023 at his home in Limerick, Pennsylvania. Scott was born in Norristown, Pennsylvania, the second child of John and Nancy Gourley. He graduated from Bishop Kenrick Highschool in 1982. Scott is survived by his son, William Scott Gourley II, mother, Nancy Gourley, sister, Ann Marie Maher and brother, John Britton Gourley, Jr.
Scott worked in the HVAC industry for many years as well as in the service industry. But music was Scott's passion, he especially loved the drums and vocals. He most recently was the lead singer of Big Daddy and the Fender Benders Band, a band he founded. He also loved boating and being on the water...his boat was one of his prized possessions. Scott was always surrounded by a host of friends. He would give the shirt off his back for someone in need and was kind to everyone he met. He always lived life to the fullest and was the life of the party. Those who met and knew Scott will always remember his humor and generosity. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting him.
